Five years after establishment, TESco instituted its injection molding capabilities primarily as a service to its R&D consulting clients. Since then, having actively participated in the development of over 30 bio-absorbable products, TESco has established a reputation as "the vendor of choice" for contract research and development and contract manufacturing of challenging absorbable devices. TESco has developed proprietary polymer processing techniques and equipment for injection molding, extrusion, and specialty fiber melt spinning of absorbable polymers and successfully delivers injection molded devices with inherent viscosities as high as 4.5. TESco is not "just another injection molder", but instead is your outsource partner with extensive polymer engineering expertise coupled with knowledge of your medical device applications. Your name is on it with our reputation built into it!

Since it's founding, TESco has placed much of its internal effort on the research and development of medical device molding, with special emphasis on bio-absorbable materials development and devices. As part of this corporate research effort, TESco continues to develop novel materials and molding capabilities. These efforts have resulted in the development of proprietary processing equipment and molding techniques that minimize polymer degradation. TESco has patents and patents pending, covering topics such as medical devices and composition of matter and processing for bio-absorbable devices. In addition, TESco has joint research and patent agreements that broaden its materials capability as well as produce key data necessary for its clients' FDA submissions.

As a contract manufacturer of biomedical products, TESco continues to focus on providing the skills and expertise to take a product from concept through initial prototype development and clinical trials into manufacturing. The company's capabilities include class 10,000 clean room manufacturing facilities and a high level of experience in manufacturing under FDA cGMP regulations and is QSR compliant. By working closely with key suppliers and the biomedical research community, TESco maintains agreements and professional contacts to insure a continued supply of critical materials and direct links to new materials, often before they are commercially available.

TESco's sole focus continues to be the research, development, and manufacturing of bio-absorbable medical devices that is done on a contract basis. The team at TESco possesses decades of absorbable medical device experience, adding significantly in a cost effective manner to our clients' capabilities.

Let our proven experience and innovation work for you.
